Prior to Frontier, Paul spent twelve years at Mercer where he held a variety of senior roles in both Australia and New Zealand. In New Zealand Paul led Mercer’s retirement business, was Board Chair of their trustee company (which was a default KiwiSaver provider at the time), published a number of papers on retirement and KiwiSaver and conducted a number of pieces of work for the New Zealand Treasury and other governmental departments. Paul also worked at Willis Towers Watson where he held the role of Senior Consultant for over eight years and was involved in a large number of governance and strategy areas (both in Australia and overseas, including in New Zealand where he led a governance review in respect of one of the countries large banks).

Paul is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and holds a CIMA certification as well as a Bachelor of Economic Science.
