Angela Karl

Angela joined QIC Global Infrastructure in 2012 to oversee the team’s investment and asset management activities in the energy and utilities sector. Angela is a Partner in the QIC Global Infrastructure business and a member of the QIC Global Infrastructure Investment Origination Committee.

Angela has been a Director on the board of Tilt Renewables (previously PARF), Australia’s largest owner and operator of wind and solar generation, since its establishment in 2016 and a Director on the board of Lochard Energy, owner of Australia’s largest independent gas storage facility, since its establishment in 2015. Angela is also a Director of Pacific Energy (since 2021), a leading Australian distributed energy business, and an alternate Director on the Board of Powerco NZ. Her previous roles include Director of Epic Energy (2012-2018) and alternate Director of Nexus Hospitals (2019-2021). Prior to joining QIC in 2012, Angela had a long career in investment banking advisory working at both JP Morgan and UBS, where she was head of Power & Utilities for Australasia.
Angela holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (First Class Honours, University Medal) and a Bachelor of Law Degree (First Class Honours) from University of Queensland.
