Head of Funds & Partnerships, Octopus Investments

Tim joined Octopus Australia in 2021 and brings nearly 20 years of funds management experience across roles at NAB, Quentin Ayers, AustralianSuper and the Commonwealth Department of Finance and Administration.  

As Head of the Funds team, Tim leads Octopus’ capital raising with institutional and wholesale investors, oversees fund structuring and operations, and manages investor relations, reporting and marketing. Since joining, Tim has played a key role in launching Octopus’ OASIS platform and helping the business reach over $1 billion in funds under management within three years. 

Tim holds a Master of Commerce and a Master of International Business from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from the University of New South Wales.
