We have appointed former Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) specialist Aneesha Singh as a Responsible Investments Consultant, strengthening our advice to asset owners on climate, sustainability and responsible investment.
Aneesha has joined our Melbourne office and will work within our Responsible Investments Team, including supporting clients of our new independent chief investment officer (ICIO) service.
Most recently, Aneesha was with the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) in London, where she worked on investor engagement initiatives focused on net zero transition planning, climate governance and stewardship.
Before joining PRI, she worked at Deloitte Access Economics, delivering economic and climate policy analysis for government agencies, financial institutions and industry clients. Her work spanned climate transition, decarbonisation and economic policy.
Aneesha holds a Master of Science in Environmental Economics and Climate Change with Distinction from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
“Aneesha’s experience across climate economics and investor engagement will help us turn complex analysis into practical advice for clients. This is particularly critical for our ICIO clients where Aneesha will have a key focus,” said Director of Specialist Services Paul Newfield.
“Our clients need responsible investment support across a broad range of activities, from data and reporting to manager due diligence and proxy voting. This appointment strengthens our capacity to support those needs.”
